Pregnancy Update: 22 Weeks

A lot of you have been asking for pregnancy updates so I figured I would do them every few weeks or so. 🙂 I am 22 weeks which means I am more than half way done with my pregnancy (according to my numerous apps) which is so nuts to me! Time is flying sooo fast. I kinda don’t want it to be over so fast but I also can’t wait to meet our baby.

HOW FAR ALONG? 22 weeks

TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN: About 4.5 pounds (2 kg)

BABYs SIZE: A carrot (according to my app)

SLEEP: There are good nights and there are nights I wake up and can’t get back to sleep for 2-3 hours. But other than that I sleep fine.

SYMPTOMS: I don’t get sick anymore but I do get very tired and exhausted quickly.

FOOD CRAVINGS: I wanted cinnamon rolls so bad, so Timo and I baked some the other day. And they were SO good!

STRETCH MARKS: I used to have some little ones on my hips before the pregnancy. Nothing new so far.

MOVEMENT: Baby moves mostly when I lay down. It’s still so amazing to me to feel all those little kicks.

WORKOUTS: Yes, I can finally go to the gym again. I never really stopped working out since I knew about the pregnancy. I just took a little break now because of that annyoing cold. If I wouldn’t be pregnant, I still would have gone, BUT baby’s health is my first priority now.

That is about all for now! Baby is healthy and good in there. I am getting so excited but it still hasn’t hit me that we will have a baby soon. Sometimes when we are out with Casper we think about how it’s going to be next year with a baby to join us on our daily walks. Casper is already kind of jealous. He wants Timo all for himself. So it’s going to be REAL interesting I guess.
